Does This Sound Like You?

You have fallen really hard many times and always end up getting hurt and you just can’t go through that anymore...but you don’t want to give up on love!

You have given your heart over to women you have loved and thought you could trust only to find out later (after you are already attached and in love) - that she is not trustworthy, that she can’t love you back in the same way, or she is incapable of being a safe partner.

You lose yourself in relationships - you forget what you need, what makes YOU happy because you are so busy taking care of her feelings, her needs, her problems. You might even get yourself into trouble around money- helping get her out of debt or help her with the custody of her children… Are you finding yourself paying it off well after the relationship is over?

Are you sick and tired of the dating sites available to you? You go online only to be disappointed over and over again, only to find women who are constantly on the prowl and not interested in a serious relationship? So you close your account and over time you can’t see to find anyone, so you jump back online secretly hoping it has magically gotten better? Dating sites - are maybe even dangerous. Some aren’t even women but scammers catfishing as many lesbians/queer woman that they can find.

Let's Take A Closer Look

You have your life together in so many areas:

  • You are successful, or in school moving towards your dreams.

Your friends tell you all the time that you are a catch.

  • You feel confident in many areas of your life.

  • You have many great relationships, lots of friends, a connection (even if complicated) to your family.

  • People love you! Your life is full in so many ways (when the global pandemic isn’t getting in the way)

  • You embrace challenges and are driven to overcome obstacles that come up. You are not afraid to look at yourself and do what it takes to fix your problems.

  • And yet this one problem continues to evade you...true love and trustworthy intimacy

  • It just doesn’t seem to get better…and you are so tired of the same thing happening over and over again despite all your attempts to fix it.

On SO many levels your life is good.

  • It’s not something you really want to look at even though you don’t shy away from working on yourself when it is needed. Yet this feels a bit different….there seems to be some shame attached. It makes you feel small or broken to have to face it head-on and let someone else know how much trouble you keep getting into - especially if your partner just left you for another woman or yet another relationship crashed and burned when you swore to YOURSELF and EVERYONE you had finally met the one…

  • You get nervous or feel like hiding even reading the words here but deep down you know you need to deal with it because you can’t imagine spending the rest of your life alone; never having experienced a loving, healthy, passionate, and truly intimate relationship.

  • Or, you are in so much pain right now because your last relationship ended in heartache and you need to do something now to feel better. You know you need to do what it takes to get over her, heal, and never get yourself in this situation discreetly and quietly change your social media status to single yet again hoping no one will notice.

On top of it all you can't stop thinking...

  • Something must be wrong with me

  • Why do I keep picking women with series emotional and/or financial problems?

  • Why do I keep making the wrong choices?

  • This woman seemed so great at first - how could I not see that she was not who I thought she was?

  • How did I end up in this f***ing situation again?

  • I am so tired of getting hurt over and over - I can't do it anymore.

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. - Rumi

The most important thing to know is you are NOT alone.

And More
Good News Is...

Because you are not afraid to work on yourself there is something you can do about it! Since you are growth-mindset oriented - you go to therapy, hire a coach if needed, take like taking self-improvement courses, read self-help books, follow thought leaders and try many spiritual tools such as law of attraction, mindset practices, meditation when called there is HOPE.

Three and a half years ago I decided to take all I had learned from my own serious relationship issues and 20+ years in the mental health field to help women who love women heal their relationship issues.

What has happened has been a wonderful journey into the online coaching world.   After several years of a boutique super hands-on approach and hundreds of calls with women with ongoing relationship issues, I have realized it was time to make this work more available to women worldwide by creating a more affordable and accessible program.

I am super excited to introduce this revolutionary 3 -month online relationship program designed to transform your relationship with yourself and love and intimacy.

This program will target this problem like nothing you have ever seen - we’ll take a deep dive to uncover all your inner obstacles, shed light on all of those patterns that keep getting you into so much trouble so they can be first be healed and transformed into a conscious place that works.. At the end of your time in the program, you’ll have transformed dysfunctional unconscious patterns and created a strategic plan that has you going back out there to find the one with authentic confidence, understanding and compassion.

My name is Dr. Lauren.

See, this is the thing - most of us cannot see our own blind spots when it comes to intimate relationships, and we need someone who gets it to help us get out of repeating the same thing over and over again. Fortunately, when we are ready to change - all we have to do is discover the truth about ourselves and the unconscious reasons why we engage in certain behaviors. That is where I come in.

I have been in the psychology and healing field for over 21 years. I am a depth-oriented therapist, relationship coach, and leading expert on the lesbian, queer and female psyche. My book, Lesbian Love Addiction: Understanding the Urge to Merge and How to Heal When Things Go Wrong is the only one of its kind that deals with the unique issues women who love women deal with when it comes to intimacy and relationship struggles. I am also an educator, presenter, activist, and international speaker. On the personal level, I am a psychological and spiritual junkie and obsessed with really good filmmaking and storytelling.

My Specialty

I work with lesbians and what gets in the way of having a loving, passionate, secure relationship. I have helped countless lesbians overcome their obstacles to finding healthy and sustainable love and I am really excited to be able to offer my work in this way.

I was just like you – exhausted from broken promises and painful relationships. On my road to healing after finding only books, retreats and courses that were for straight women,  I made it my mission to figure out what was going on not only with myself but with all lesbians and queer woman. From this desire my first book was born: Lesbian Love Addiction: Understanding the Urge to Merge and How to Heal When Things Go Wrong. After years of therapy, spiritual work, intensive research, study, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and working with dozens of clients I developed The Art of Finding Lesbian and Queer Love so that I could help other lesbians and queer woman like myself find their soulmate and create a intimate,  passionate and loving relationship! I have been with my partner for almost 8 years (my record was 3 before my wife and we were married in 2018)! This is the healthiest, strongest,  most intimate relationship I have ever had. It is so rewarding to finally be with my soulmate and best friend.

Lesbian-Affirmative Psychotherapy

Lesbian-affirmative psychotherapy focuses on helping individuals heal from the negative impacts of growing up in a world that can be discriminating towards lesbians, queer women, and non-binary folks. From a lesbian-centric lens, this perspective increases one’s self-esteem, sense of self, and feelings of self-love by confronting the damaging effects of growing up in a world that is based on misogynistic, sexist, heterosexist, and homophobic ideals. Coined lesbianphobia by Dr. Lauren in 2012, she recognized that this combination of unique circumstances experienced by lesbian, queer women, and non-binary lesbians needed to be addressed directly to heal this aspect of systemic trauma. Internalized lesbianphobia occurs when lesbians, queer women, and non-binary lesbians internalize these damaging concepts, leading to feelings of shame, guilt, and unworthiness that operate deep in the unconscious. While progress has been made for the LGBTQ community, the level one experiences and internalizes lesbianphobia can vary depending on various factors. To experience genuine self-love and liberation, therapy that affirms lesbian identities is crucial in helping individuals confront and overcome internalized shame and fear, leading to a more empowered and integrated sense of self. It provides valuable insights and practical techniques for overcoming internalized lesbianphobia, ultimately promoting the well-being, a more authentic sense of self, and happiness of lesbians and queer individuals.
